Among the best 50: Bavaria honoured us
Figures are evaluated and a prize is awarded: our company figures went to the jury of the Bavaria’s Best 50 SME competition. The result was “Memodo ranks among Bavaria’s Best 50” and is thus one of the 50 fastest-growing companies in the State. This is what the competition is all about.
Each year, the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy appoints a different auditing firm and the owner-managed companies with 50 to 5000 employees can participate in this competition. Furthermore, both the turnover and employee growth of the company had to show an upward trend over the last 5 years and should also look positive for 2022. The growth should be mainly organic and the company should have existed for at least 5 years. The Birch Index was used for the evaluation.
Bavaria’s Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger presented the “Bavaria’s Best 50” award at Schleißheim palace. We were joined by the award-winning SMEs from the administrative districts of Swabia, Lower Bavaria, Upper Bavaria, Lower and Middle Franconia and the Upper Palatinate.

Memodo = Growth
“For us, the award honours our leap in growth, our economic performance and many newly created jobs. It encourages us to continue on our chosen path. Collaborative growth is part of our DNA,” says Enrico Brandmeier, founder and CEO of Memodo. “For the energy transition, we approach challenges with a vision and composure. In doing so, we never stop questioning and reinventing ourselves.” Memodo is now expanding internationally and is driving the energy transition across Europe. There are currently over 300 Memodos in Germany and Austria. Our turnover has also doubled from 2020 to 2021.
Outlook and vision
The entire PV market is under pressure and is currently revolving around high demand, which simply increased six times this year. Moreover, shortages of raw materials, price increases and disrupted supply chains are dominating manufacturers’ lives and our daily routine. We are currently developing a new logistics and training centre with 30,000 m2 of storage space and new offices in Oberding near Munich. And this is not the end of the story: We are in search of the new warehouses, offices and employees in order to contribute our share to the energy transition.
